GRYC is an online resource dedicated to yeast genomics. It provides genome sequences and annotations for a selection of yeast species. These genomic data consist of the genomes from the former genolevures consortium, genomes produced by our team and a selection of high quality genomes retrieved from public databases. The aim of GRYC is to provide reference genomes of yeast possibly with a curated gene annotation.
New genomes are added regularly, please contact us if you would like us to add a particular species.
This resource is developed and maintained by members of the ADEL team of the SPO research unit (INRAE, Montpellier, FRANCE). The web services are hosted by the INRAE Occitanie-Toulouse Data Center.
We provide a set of high quality genome annotations that can be considered the gold standard in yeast genomics.
We propose a responsive and user friendly interface to search, manipulate and extract yeast genomic data.
We propose solutions for both improving existing genome annotations and annotating new genomes.
BLAST+ tool suite to search genetic features.
Multiple global alignment with MAFFT tool.
Online reverse-complement.
Use the cart system to create selection of loci.
Download flat file data in FASTA, EMBL and GFF3.
Description pages for strains, chromosomes and loci.
Search our database with Elasticsearch.
Browse individual chromosome with JBrowse.
The data stored in the GRYC database consists of genomic sequences and gene annotations of yeast genomes. For the sake of quality and transparency, imported data must fulfil several conditions:
#Species | 15 |
---|---|
#Strains | 15 |
#Chromosomes/scaffolds | 256 |
#Loci (all) | 94989 |
#Loci (coding) | 89317 |
